The N8 can also take 720p HD quality video at 24fps and stream it to your TV via HDMI. The N8 has a 12 megapixel sensor with an excellent lens and Xenon flash. The camera of the N8 is superior to that of the Aino despite the latter sporting an 8 megapixel snapper than can churn out pretty great pictures. So you shouldn’t expect a wide selection of apps aside from Java. On the other hand, the Aino runs on a distinct operating system. Although quite new, Symbian^3 is expected to takeover S60 as the main Symbian OS. When it comes to the operating system, the N8 has the Symbian^3. As the N8 is fully reliant on the touch interface, it is understood that it can be used regardless of where you are in the system. Only certain applications can take advantage of it, namely the multimedia and java apps, while others are forced to resort to the keypad. There is also a minor problem with the Aino when it comes to the touch interface. Resolution also goes to the N8 as the Aino has a very low 240×432 resolution. The N8 has a 3.5 inch AMOLED display while the Aino has a 3 inch LCD display. Aino has the benefit of a keypad and additional soft keys whenever needed.īoth devices have touch screens but the N8 seems to be the winner in this aspect. To start with, the N8 is a candybar while the Aino is a slider. The N8 and Aino are two phones that no longer bank on their capabilities as smartphones, but they flaunt their supposedly secondary abilities.
